Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas is a very popular and well known beach. It sits in a town that was once known as a sleepy town on the coast. Since then, it has become a great tourist destination. Along the beach, you will find three resorts. There is also a golf course and marina nearby.
Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas travels south for approximately four kilometers. It begins at the start of a seventy meter tall Island Point. It finishes nearby some mangroves, rocks and reefs. Most of the beach has low and flat sand. Whilst its tide is around two hundred meters wide.
The town center can be found on the northern end of the beach. This beautiful beach is ideal for fishing, surfing and swimming. If you love swimming, we recommend you swim when the tide is high.
